1978-1992

We will introduce Princess Alice of Medogold and Porschet Midnight Lights Medogold both Romeo Children bred by Rene Soden and Colette Tuite respectively. We also wish everyone well with Medogold Stock as we head towards 2003

2003 Peakdale Quivver of Medogold claimed the title of Top Brood Bitch for 2002 for which we are really proud. Romeo's Son Porschet Midnight Shadow won BPIS at The Southern Pointer Club whilst other sons and daughters claimed BPIS at open shows and other BP awards. Our new Puppy Medogold Funtime Frankie delighted us by winning BPIS at the Pointer Club Championship Show in April. Whilst Romeo won the Gundog Champion Stakes at Manchester. We will be introducing Medogold Jacqueline in July.

2004 What a year Medogold is once again the top kennel in the UK. For the third year running Peakdale Quivver of Medogold (1CC) claimed the title of UK Top Brood Bitch (2003) for which we are really proud. The UK's Top Male was our beloved Sh Ch Medogold Midnight Romeo JW who now has 9 CC's and 6 RCC's his sister Medogold Kola now has 1 CC & 1 RCC Romeo's Son Porschet Midnight Shadow gained his Junior warrant along with sisters Porschet Midnight Affair at Medogold JW 1 CC + 1 RCC and Porschet Midnight Breeze JW all bred by Colette Tuite. Our new Puppy Medogold Jacqueline delighted us by Gaining her Junior Warrant and by winning BPIS at the Pointer Club Open Show in April.

2005 Another fantastic year for Medogold with Medogold Funtime Frankie gaining the Eukanuba Top Stud Dog 2004 by producing the winning progeny:- Medogold Sunny Days JW (2 RCC's), Medogold Wild Orchid at Lyndfil JW, Medogold Castaspell over Cascagnia. Sunny delighted us by gaining her Juniior Warrant at the Southern Pointer Club in March 2005 this was followed closely by Wild Orchid a few weeeks later.

Medogold Kola became a Show Champion after wining her 3rd Challenge Certificate under Chris Atkinson at Manchester. Both Medogold Jacqueline and Medogold Funtime Frankie gainin their first cc's in the first half of the year

2006 Medogold does it again UK Top Breeder 2005 such a thrill!! In the showring we did the double at Manchester with our own Medogold Funtime Frankie JW and Medogold Wild Orchid at Lyndfil owned by Linda Graham & Gary Denwood. Both Medogold Jacqueline JW and Medogold Funtime Frankie JW gained their 2nd CC's and then Medogold Jacqueline followed with the CC & BOB at Birmingham gaining her Sh Ch title in the process and being short listed to the final 7 in the Gundog Group. Others to gain CC's were Sh Ch Medogold Midnight Romeo and " Ruby" Porschet Midnight Affair at Medogold congratulations to Kirsten Bond Ruby's owner

By now progeny of our girls and boys are starting to hit the heights with Medogold Bewitched to Gemrose (John Coggins) Medogold Castaspell over Cascagnia, Medogold Stella By Starllight (Sue Purdy), Medogold Ivory Lace (Sue Desmond), Medogold Dan Tastic (Stephanie Smith), our own Sh Ch Medogold Vanilla Fudge, Medogold Vodkatini & Medogold Only Forever,& Viomillen Eastern Pearl via Medogold, and Jill & Shona Macpherson's Viomillen Evasoevian by Medogold.

2007 Although we did not show at Crufts this year Medogold has once again taken the title for our kennel with Top Breeder for 2006 and Medogold Dan Tastic becomes a celebrity with his story being told in the Pre Crufts TV footage and also wins 2 RCC's and his Show Certificate of Merit. Medogold hits the limelight again with Halfway Leader of UK Top Breeder 2007! We have continued our winning ways with 5 CC winning progeny: Medogold Vanilla Fudge suprises us all and wins 4 CC's in the first few shows of the year and become Show Champion Medogold Vanilla Fudge, Medogold Typhoon Ginger at Colholme is the latest puppy to make his debut and wins Best Puppy Dog at Darlington owned by Jackie & Derek Collins, Medogold Pearl Power over Blueyonda JW owned by Steph Smith & Brian Carter has had a marvellous year and wins her Junior Warrant, her sister Medogold Wannabeposh for Lappakia is also winning Best Puppy awards for owners Cindy & Brian Stangroom. Medogold Bewitched to Gemrose misse her warrant by 1 point but is winning through the classes in the right way and has won through to Post Graduate. Medogold Castaspell over Cascagnia has taken two good Limit Classes much to the delight of owner Sue Purdy who together with Medogold Stella By starlight is having a good year. As we reach November we are absolutely thrilled as Medogold is the leading UK Kennel with just a few shows to go Sh Ch Medogold Midnight Romeo JW is currently the UK Leading Sire and Sh Ch Medogold Wizadora JW takes over from her mothers wonderful wins in 2001,2,3, by becoming the Leading Brood Bitch we are soooooo so proud and thank all of the judges who have made this possible!!!

The year has also been tinged with sadness as we loose two of our pensioners and then suddenly Medogold Vodkatini at the tender age of 10 months due to a closed Pyometra we are devastated.

We are delighted that so many of the kennels which have used our stock are reaping the benefit by bringing quality bitches to our boys! Firstly with Romeo's Children- Stuart and Sheila Tait make up their Romeo son Sh Ch Tomlow Windtalker bred by Karen Sillince, Sh Ch Tomlow Brief Encounter also bred by Karen gains his title, Kirsten & Stephen Bond make up Sh Ch Porschet Midnight Affair at Medogold bred by Colette Tuite, John Evans' Joneva Kennel win CC's with Joneva Waiting in the Wings JW she also gains her Junior Warrant and Joneva Shooting Star over Djankay owned by Elaine & Phil Wilson misses his warrant by 1 point but wins 2CC's and 1 RCC Then Linda Graham and Gary Denwood make up Medogold Wild Orchid's Daughter - Sh Ch Lyndfil Bed of Roses, our own Medogold Sunny Daze JW took the CC at SKC under Clive Davis.

NOW babies are on the way "Dolly" - Princess Alice of Medogold has been mated to "Woodhouse" Medogold Colonel Darling, this brings together beautiful lines from the Medogold x Toberdoney x Peakdale & Hazelbarrow we await their arrival in November with great excitment
